Job Summary
ICF is seeking an Environmental Chemist to contribute to the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) contract at the newly established Region 9 Laboratory in Corvallis, Oregon. This role offers the opportunity to leverage your analytical expertise to positively influence the environment and advance your career.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive environmental analyses to support various projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and guidelines throughout laboratory processes.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations based on analytical findings for stakeholders.
- Continuously improve laboratory protocols and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- A degree in chemistry, environmental science, or a related field.
- Strong background in analytical chemistry and laboratory techniques.
- Experience working in environmental laboratories or with environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety standards.
