Job Summary

ICF is seeking an Environmental Chemist to contribute to the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) contract at the newly established Region 9 Laboratory in Corvallis, Oregon. This role offers the opportunity to leverage your analytical expertise to positively influence the environment and advance your career.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive environmental analyses to support various projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and guidelines throughout laboratory processes.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations based on analytical findings for stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve laboratory protocols and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • A degree in chemistry, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Strong background in analytical chemistry and laboratory techniques.
  • Experience working in environmental laboratories or with environmental regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety standards.
