Job Summary
The Epic Analyst plays a crucial role in the management and optimization of Epic applications, focusing on their planning, system analysis, construction, testing, and ongoing maintenance. This position demands close collaboration with various departments and end users to ensure that the systems align with the strategic and operational objectives of the network.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning and analysis of assigned Epic applications.
- Engage with departments and users to ascertain their needs and ensure system efficiency.
- Facilitate the building and testing of Epic systems to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Maintain and support Epic applications to guarantee ongoing performance and reliability.
Qualifications
- Relevant IT or healthcare experience with Epic EMR is essential.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills are required.
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory, while a bachelor’s degree in IT or a related healthcare field is preferred.
