Job Summary
The Equipment Operator I is responsible for managing and operating various machinery during the 3rd shift to ensure efficient production and quality output. This role involves monitoring equipment functionality, adhering to safety protocols, and assisting in maintaining production standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain assigned equipment during the 3rd shift.
- Monitor machinery performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedural guidelines.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic repairs as needed.
- Document and report any irregularities or maintenance needs to supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in operating machinery is preferred.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
