Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Substation Structural Engineer to join our Power Delivery Substation Civil/Structural Group in Syracuse, New York. This role involves developing effective engineering solutions for electrical substation projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and permitting requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural designs for substation facilities.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver engineering solutions from conception to execution.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout construction phases.
- Review and approve project documentation and permits related to design and construction processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Proven experience in substation design and structural engineering.
- Knowledge of industry standards, practices, and permitting processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
