Job Summary
The Facilities Tech I role is essential for the maintenance and repair of various facilities systems and infrastructure. This position entails executing scheduled maintenance, addressing service requests, and ensuring that a safe and functional environment is upheld in all operational areas.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine inspection and maintenance of facilities equipment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance service requests from staff and tenants.
- Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues across different systems.
- Participate in the implementation of preventive maintenance plans.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed.
- Assist in inventory management of supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training is a plus.
- Basic knowledge in building maintenance and repair techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
