Job Summary
The Facility Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining and repairing building infrastructure as well as manufacturing equipment. This position is essential for upholding a safe, clean, and efficient workplace by effectively managing facility systems and liaising with external vendors when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot issues related to building infrastructure and equipment.
- Complete repairs on various facility systems as needed.
- Ensure a safe and efficient work environment through regular upkeep and oversight of maintenance protocols.
- Coordinate with vendors for specific maintenance projects and requirements.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in facility maintenance or industrial maintenance is required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with electrical systems.
- Knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems is essential.
- Ability to proficiently use hand and power tools.
- Capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals.
