Job description
**Festival Director**
The Festival Director oversees the comprehensive development, strategic planning, and operational implementation of the city’s major annual festival. This role involves managing event logistics, sourcing vendors, developing sponsorship relationships, and guaranteeing public safety as well as financial responsibility. Applicants should have a minimum of five years of relevant experience in large-scale event organization and management. A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is desirable, along with excellent negotiation abilities and familiarity with mass-gathering safety standards.
