Job Summary
The Field Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in evaluating patient health, managing admissions, and creating continuous care plans for individuals in hospice settings. This position not only involves clinical responsibilities but also emphasizes providing compassionate support to families during challenging times.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patient conditions.
- Coordinate the admission process for hospice patients.
- Develop and maintain ongoing plans of care catered to patient needs.
- Offer emotional support and guidance to families.
- Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Proficient in computer skills for documenting patient care.
- Experience in hospice care is highly desirable.
