Job Summary
The Field Service Technician role in Portland, OR is a hands-on position within the Service department, responsible for addressing machine installations and overseeing maintenance activities. This role reports directly to the District Service Manager and involves managing updates such as Engineering Change Notices during critical system situations.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site machine installations and routine maintenance.
- Provide support during downtime and maintenance situations.
- Report progress and updates to the District Service Manager.
- Implement Engineering Change Notices effectively as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a field service technician or similar role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and technologies.
