Job Summary
The Finisher plays a crucial role in overseeing metal finishing techniques such as powder coating and liquid painting to safeguard equipment against environmental factors. This position demands a thorough understanding of the processes involved in finishing operations to maintain high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute metal finishing processes, including both powder coating and liquid painting.
- Review blueprints to accurately identify components that require finishing.
- Operate material handling machinery effectively.
- Conduct grinding and sanding activities to achieve the desired quality of finishes.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma is required.
- Must have a basic understanding of shop math.
- Physical capability to remain standing for prolonged periods and lift weights of up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to obtain a respirator certification.
