Job Summary
The Fitness Assistant plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional fitness experiences while ensuring the safety and satisfaction of members. This position involves leading fitness tours, offering group training sessions, and overseeing the correct usage of gym equipment. Additionally, the assistant is tasked with maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and aiding in the creation of customized exercise plans for patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct fitness tours for members and guests to introduce facility offerings.
- Provide group instruction to promote effective exercise techniques.
- Ensure members use equipment safely and correctly.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the fitness facility.
- Assist in developing tailored exercise programs for patients based on their needs.
Qualifications
- Candidates should be currently enrolled in or have completed a relevant academic program or certification, such as in Exercise Science or Sports Medicine.
- Experience with the senior demographic is strongly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively are essential.
