Job description
The registered nurse is responsible for performing RN-to-RN evaluations and medical assessments to assess the suitability for psychiatric admissions. They work closely with physicians to obtain necessary orders and ensure adherence to EMTALA regulations. Applicants should have an Associate Degree or BSN in Nursing and be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Illinois. A minimum of one year of experience in either inpatient mental health or medical-surgical nursing is highly desirable.
