Job Summary
The Floor Care Technician is responsible for executing various floor maintenance activities, which include cleaning, buffing, and refinishing surfaces in both resident rooms and communal areas. This role is vital for upholding a clean and hygienic environment in accordance with infection control standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform floor cleaning, buffing, and refinishing tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in resident rooms and common spaces.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all cleaning activities.
- Adhere to established infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to carry out repetitive physical tasks for extended durations.
- A high school diploma or equivalent educational background is preferred.
- Competence in following both oral and written instructions effectively.
