**Floor Technician**
The Floor Technician plays a vital role in ensuring that the floors in a long-term care facility are kept clean and aesthetically pleasing. This involves carrying out various duties such as cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors. The technician is expected to handle floor care machinery safely, maintain records of activities, and follow infection control protocols strictly. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or its equivalent and be capable of performing physical activities, including lifting weights of up to 50 pounds. Previous experience in floor care is desirable, and the position necessitates adherence to vaccination policies as well as the ability to understand and execute both verbal and written instructions.
