Founding Research Scientist, Robot Learning

Job description

As the head of the robot-learning research initiative, you will establish the technical roadmap, outline evaluation metrics, and make essential decisions regarding architecture and computational trade-offs. You will also be responsible for the development and pretraining of foundational models for robots, while guiding the research team to enhance physical functionalities. Applicants should have a PhD in a related discipline or a comparable track record of innovative research and practical applications. Expertise in Python, PyTorch or JAX, and C++ is essential, as is demonstrated experience in implementing learned models on real-world robotic systems.
