Job description
**Freight Conductor**
The Freight Conductor is responsible for working closely with train crews to ensure the safe movement, positioning, and inspection of railcars in compliance with railroad safety standards and federal guidelines. This role includes conducting equipment maintenance, managing switch operations, and overseeing track crews as necessary.
Candidates should be a minimum of 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED, along with at least one year of relevant work experience. It is essential that applicants are physically fit to carry out rigorous outdoor tasks and successfully complete a six-week training program.
