Job Summary
The Charge Nurse plays a vital role in connecting residents, their families, and healthcare providers, all while delivering clinical guidance and support for daily living tasks. This position emphasizes the importance of monitoring the health of residents and ensuring the upkeep of precise care records, in addition to creating a secure and respectful environment for individuals with memory challenges.
Responsibilities
- Act as a supportive liaison among residents, family members, and medical professionals.
- Oversee resident health and well-being through routine monitoring.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of resident care.
- Promote a safe and welcoming atmosphere for residents with memory impairments.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Vocational Nursing program.
- Possession of a current LVN/LPN license.
- Capability to perform physical tasks, including walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
