Job Summary
The Licensed Vocational Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering recovery-oriented medical care and managing medication for clients within a residential mental health environment. This position focuses on direct patient care while adhering to established guidelines, as well as ensuring clients are transported to various appointments as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Provide recovery-focused medical treatment to clients.
- Administer medications in accordance with established protocols.
- Implement direct care as per standardized procedures.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and other necessary engagements.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT).
- Valid certifications in CPR, BLS, First Aid, and CPI.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Insurance for a personal vehicle required.
