Job description
**Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator**
We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to skillfully operate heavy machinery, including excavators and skid steers, for tasks such as trenching, pipe installation, and site preparation related to gas distribution projects. It is essential to conduct all operations safely in consideration of buried utilities and to maintain equipment in good working order, while strictly following DOT and OSHA regulations. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience operating heavy equipment, ideally in the realm of gas distribution or underground utility construction. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license, demonstrate the ability to pass a drug screening, and be capable of performing physically challenging outdoor work.
