Job description
The Yard Jockey plays a crucial role in the safe movement of tractor-trailers within the yard, supporting both loading and unloading tasks. Additionally, this position entails conducting equipment checks and making certain that cargo is properly secured for transportation. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED and be a minimum of 17 years of age. A valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is necessary for operating vehicles on public streets, along with the physical capability to lift weights up to 70 lbs and to handle heavy machinery.
