Job Summary
The Gas Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily activities of gas distribution and ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards. This position focuses on optimizing the gas operations processes, managing teams, and coordinating with various departments to deliver efficient services.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the gas operations team to ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety protocols.
- Monitor gas distribution systems for performance and efficiency, implementing improvements when necessary.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule repairs and upgrades of gas infrastructure.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in gas operations and safety procedures.
- Prepare and submit reports on operational metrics and safety performance to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in gas operations or utility management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental requirements related to gas operations.
