Job Summary
The position focuses on supporting safe and efficient production activities by managing the unloading, examination, evacuation, refilling, organization, and loading of tanks and cylinders. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of material handling processes.
Responsibilities
- Unload, inspect, evacuate, refill, organize, and load tanks and cylinders.
- Operate material-handling machinery with precision.
- Refurbish cylinders and inspect or replace valves as needed.
- Calibrate scales to ensure accurate weight measurements.
- Maintain the facility to meet operational standards.
- Report and troubleshoot any operational challenges that arise.
Qualifications
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and ensure safety in all operations.
- Attention to detail is crucial for quality assurance.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds routinely and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Experience with equipment operation, OSHA training, painting, and welding or soldering is advantageous, though not required.
