Job Summary
The Hand Cutter plays a crucial role in the fabric preparation process by measuring, cutting, and laying out materials based on designated patterns and styles. This position necessitates adherence to stringent quality standards and effective collaboration with the sewing team to ensure seamless workflow.
Responsibilities
- Measure and cut fabric as per specific patterns and styles.
- Ensure high quality standards are maintained throughout the cutting process.
- Work collaboratively with the sewing team to facilitate efficient operations.
- Maintain and care for cutting equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Accurately log production data using a computer system.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Ability to stand for 8-9 hours daily while lifting weights of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work tasks.
- Capability to work independently and manage time effectively.
