Job Summary
The Head of Product Quality is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing product reliability and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards within the New Product Introduction (NPI) team. The position involves managing partnerships with outsourced laboratories and suppliers to maintain high-quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead product reliability initiatives within the NPI team.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance throughout product development.
- Manage relationships with outsourced partners and testing laboratories.
- Conduct audits of suppliers to uphold quality standards.
- Promote ongoing enhancements in manufacturing processes to boost yield rates.
- Develop and implement comprehensive failure tracking systems.
Qualifications
- More than 10 years of experience in quality and reliability management in a hardware environment.
- Proven track record of supporting the transition from early production to full-scale manufacturing.
- Strong expertise in managing suppliers based in Asia.
- Proficiency with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems is essential.
