Job Summary
The Healthcare Data Engineer will be responsible for managing and optimizing data architecture and warehousing solutions. This role requires extensive experience, specifically in utilizing Snowflake, alongside proficiency in DBT and SQL. The Data Engineer will work closely with teams to ensure robust data management frameworks are implemented effectively.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop efficient data models and architectures using Snowflake.
- Implement data transformation workflows leveraging DBT.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure seamless data integration.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data storage and retrieval processes.
- Maintain documentation of data architectures and workflows for compliance and training purposes.
Qualifications
- Over 10 years of professional experience in data engineering, with significant exposure to healthcare data.
- Expertise in Snowflake, including data modeling and understanding of warehousing principles.
- Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and DBT for data transformation.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot data-related issues.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage shifting priorities effectively.
