Job Summary
The Home Health Aide plays a vital role in delivering key personal care, assistance with mobility, and support for daily living activities to patients in their residences. This position entails overseeing patient conditions, recording care provided, and ensuring a safe environment, all while effectively communicating with the nursing staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and mobility assistance to patients in their home setting.
- Monitor and document patient conditions and care activities.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients.
- Communicate regularly with nursing team members regarding patient status.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma is required.
- Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide training program, or possess a Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- At least 1.5 years of recent experience in caregiving is preferred.
- Must successfully pass background checks and health screenings in compliance with Ohio state laws.
