Job Summary
The Home Health Aide is tasked with providing crucial support to patients by aiding them in their daily living activities. This role encompasses facilitating personal care, assisting with mobility, and performing light housekeeping duties, with the overarching aim of ensuring patient comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming.
- Provide support with mobility and transportation as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Monitor and record patient conditions and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Offer companionship to patients to enhance their mental well-being.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Home Health Aide training program.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least one year of relevant professional caregiving experience.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Current CPR certification.
