Job Summary
The Household Facilitator oversees the daily operations related to meal service, which encompasses menu planning and food preparation, while ensuring all safety and health protocols are adhered to. This position also involves organizing resident activities and upholding a secure, clean, and inviting household atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily meal service, including selecting menus and preparing food.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout all household activities.
- Coordinate and plan resident activities to promote engagement and well-being.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Follow therapeutic diet orders as necessary for residents’ health needs.
- Adhere to ServSafe standards for all food handling practices.
- Assist residents with their daily needs, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Implement proper infection control and safety measures throughout the household.
Qualifications
- Experience in managing meal services in a household or similar setting.
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets and ability to implement dietary guidelines.
- Familiarity with safety and health regulations relevant to food service and residential care.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with residents and staff.
- Ability to organize activities and create a pleasant environment for residents.
