Job Summary
The Housekeeping Aide is responsible for executing daily cleaning duties within the facility, which includes resident rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas, while adhering to established safety and sanitation protocols. In addition to maintaining cleanliness, this role requires effective communication and positive interaction with residents, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Complete daily housekeeping tasks ensuring a clean and hygienic environment.
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms and shared bathrooms.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas throughout the facility.
- Follow safety and sanitation standards during cleaning procedures.
- Keep accurate records of cleaning activities performed.
- Engage positively with residents, team members, and guests.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with various cleaning products and their safe usage.
