Job Summary
The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the facility. This position involves performing essential daily cleaning tasks to ensure that resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas are kept in excellent condition while adhering to sanitation and infection control standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily housekeeping duties, including the cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, and shared spaces.
- Adhere to sanitation and infection control protocols during all cleaning activities.
- Keep precise records of cleaning operations and report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting weights up to 50 pounds.
- Competence in understanding and following both oral and written instructions.
- Maintain a positive attitude and professionalism in a healthcare setting.
