Job Summary
The Information Security Administrator is tasked with overseeing the security protocols and measures within an organization. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of data, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. The administrator will assess security measures and implement enhancements to safeguard the organization’s information systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain information security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Monitor the security of IT systems and address vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
- Respond to security incidents and breaches promptly.
- Work with various stakeholders to promote security awareness and training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven experience in information security administration or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and compliance standards.
- Relevant certifications, such as CISSP or CISM, are preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
