Job description

Job Summary

The Instrument Operator is responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and operating various instruments and equipment essential for monitoring and controlling processes. This position involves ensuring accurate data gathering and adherence to safety standards while executing operations efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of instruments to ensure proper functioning.
  • Calibrate and troubleshoot instruments as necessary to maintain precision.
  • Monitor data outputs and make adjustments to equipment for optimal performance.
  • Document operational activities and compile reports on instrument status.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues effectively.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a hazard-free work environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in instrument operation or related field.
  • Strong understanding of calibration, operation, and maintenance of instruments.
  • Ability to interpret technical data and perform troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant certification or degree preferred.
