Job description
The Instrument Operator collaborates with a crew chief to gather field data utilized in design, boundary determination, and construction layout projects. Key responsibilities involve operating surveying instruments, handling field data, and overseeing the maintenance of survey supplies and vehicles. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in operating total stations and GPS equipment in both static and RTK modes across various surveying applications. This position demands physical agility, the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds, and possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
