Job Summary
S&B is on the lookout for a Civil/Structural Engineer Intern in Baton Rouge, LA. This role involves working closely under the guidance of experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience in the civil and structural engineering field. The intern will have the opportunity to participate in field trips to operational plants or construction sites, which will enhance their understanding of real-world engineering applications.
Responsibilities
- Assist with various engineering projects under supervision.
- Participate in field visits to gather data and learn about practical engineering operations.
- Work in environments that may have challenging conditions including noise and proximity to machinery.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a civil or structural engineering degree program.
- Desire to learn and gain experience in the engineering field.
- Ability to work in environments involving moving mechanical parts and construction equipment.
