The IT Laboratory Support Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for IT assistance concerning laboratory instruments, software applications, and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). This role entails troubleshooting hardware and software issues, overseeing data backup processes, and guaranteeing consistent service availability for laboratory personnel. Applicants should have a blend of IT and laboratory experience or hold a pertinent degree in a scientific or technological field. Additionally, candidates must be capable of securing a government public trust clearance and possess strong communication skills to effectively assist a distributed team.
