Job Summary
The IT Systems Engineer is responsible for the administration and upkeep of x86-based servers, Cisco networking equipment, and Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure. This role also involves managing Azure cloud environments, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) systems, and contributing to modernization efforts within the data center along with disaster recovery planning.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain x86-based servers.
- Oversee Cisco network devices.
- Manage Nutanix hyper-converged systems.
- Handle Azure cloud instances and VDI systems.
- Participate in data center modernization initiatives.
- Engage in disaster recovery planning processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Engineering.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in IT systems engineering.
- Preferred certifications in x86 platforms, Microsoft technologies, Cisco networking, Nutanix systems, or Azure services.
