Job description
The Janitor/Floor Technician plays a crucial role in upholding the cleanliness and hygiene of floors and designated spaces within a federal healthcare facility. This position entails the use of floor maintenance equipment, carrying out regular cleaning tasks, and adhering to all safety and infection control protocols. Ideal candidates will possess prior experience in janitorial or floor care roles and demonstrate proficiency in the safe operation of cleaning machinery. Additionally, applicants should be physically fit to handle manual tasks, including the ability to lift weights of up to 50 pounds, and must successfully complete a federal background and security check.
