Job Summary
The Junior Chemist plays a vital role in supporting various scientific processes and projects within the laboratory. This position requires an individual who is passionate about chemistry and eager to contribute to the development and analysis of chemical substances. Assisting senior chemists, the Junior Chemist will be involved in the planning and executing of experiments, ensuring accuracy and safety throughout all procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory experiments in accordance with established protocols.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of chemical samples.
- Maintain accurate records of findings and observations made during experiments.
- Support senior chemists in their research projects with data collection and interpretation.
- Ensure all safety regulations are adhered to while performing laboratory tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.
- Strong understanding of chemical safety and laboratory procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with analytical instruments and techniques is an advantage.
