The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for executing technical tasks, ensuring quality control, and maintaining laboratory instruments across different clinical sections. In addition, they provide clerical support and assist with phlebotomy, while accurately reporting results under the guidance of a Clinical Laboratory Scientist. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, and one year of experience in an acute care setting is preferred. The role demands the ability to perform physical activities, including lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for prolonged periods.
