Job description
The Laboratory Assistant plays a key role in executing technical tasks, ensuring quality control, and managing laboratory equipment, all under the guidance of clinical laboratory scientists. This role also involves conducting phlebotomy and handling clerical duties while guaranteeing the precision of patient reports and adherence to regulatory requirements. Applicants should possess at least a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for one year of experience in an acute care environment. Physical capabilities are necessary for this position, including the ability to lift up to 30 lbs and maintain prolonged periods of standing.
