Job Summary
The Lab Manager 1 plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of a laboratory environment. This position is responsible for ensuring that the laboratory is efficient, safe, and compliant with industry standards while also supporting research initiatives effectively.
Responsibilities
- Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies to ensure optimal functionality.
- Oversee lab staff to ensure adherence to best practices while conducting experiments.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the planning and execution of research projects.
- Track and manage laboratory budgets and resources effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field.
- Experience in a laboratory setting with supervisory responsibilities preferred.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and laboratory procedures.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
