Job Summary
Eurofins Built Environment Testing East is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to join their team in Cary, NC. This entry-level position is focused on supporting laboratory operations, ensuring that all analytical testing is conducted in a timely and efficient manner while adhering to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct various laboratory tests and analyses under the supervision of senior lab personnel.
- Prepare samples and ensure proper handling and documentation throughout the testing process.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and assist in troubleshooting issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in all laboratory activities.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and maintain a clean work environment.
- Record and report test results accurately and promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in a science-related field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex instructions.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
