Job Summary
The Land Surveyor will be responsible for conducting precise measurements to determine property boundaries, topography, and land features. This role is essential in supporting engineering, construction, and land development projects. The individual will utilize advanced surveying techniques and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform land surveys to establish legal property boundaries.
- Analyze survey data and calculations to prepare reports.
- Utilize GPS and other surveying instruments for precision measurements.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to provide survey information.
- Ensure adherence to relevant legal and environmental standards.
- Conduct fieldwork, compiling data for future reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license is preferred.
- Proficiency in using surveying software and technology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with geographic information systems (GIS) is beneficial.
