Job Summary
The Laundry Worker plays a crucial role in managing the laundry needs of the facility by efficiently handling the collection, washing, drying, and distribution of linens and personal garments. Responsibilities
- Collect and handle linens and personal clothing for washing.
- Operate laundry machinery in a safe manner.
- Wash, dry, and fold garments and linens according to established protocols.
- Ensure the laundry area remains clean and sanitary.
- Engage positively with residents, staff, and guests during laundry operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Prior experience in a laundry environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
