Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Lead Consultant in the field of Ports and Marine Civil/Structural Engineering to join our Portland, Oregon team. This role focuses on overseeing the construction, inspection, and assessment of structures and facilities within port environments, contributing to our national maritime initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering projects related to ports and marine structures.
- Conduct inspections and assessments of existing port facilities.
- Provide expert technical guidance on structural engineering practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Oversee and mentor junior engineers and consultants as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Proven experience in marine engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of structural design and construction techniques.
- Exceptional communication and project management skills.
