Job Summary
The Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician is responsible for managing surgical and dental procedures while ensuring excellent patient care throughout the process, from induction to recovery. This position also entails mentoring team members, enhancing workflow efficiencies, and fostering strong client relationships through effective communication.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate surgical and dental workflows.
- Deliver high-quality care to patients during the induction and recovery phases.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to veterinary staff.
- Implement improvements in team workflows for enhanced efficiency.
- Develop trust with clients through clear and effective communication.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a veterinary technician.
- Possess an active and valid Licensed Veterinary Technician credential in the state of Washington.
- Demonstrated expertise in anesthesia, surgical assistance, and dental radiography.
