Job Summary
The Lead Quality Compliance Inspector in the Defense sector is a vital role responsible for ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the production lifecycle. This position involves close collaboration with various teams to uphold excellence and integrity in defense manufacturing practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of defense products and processes to verify compliance with quality assurance standards.
- Review and analyze quality reports, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to quality compliance, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Lead training sessions on quality standards and best practices for staff members.
- Act as a liaison between compliance teams and regulatory bodies to facilitate audits and inspections.
- Participate in the continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality compliance within the defense industry.
- Strong understanding of regulatory standards and quality management systems.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Certification in Quality Control or similar is a plus.
