Job Summary
The position involves executing detailed autism diagnostic assessments, engaging in interviews with caregivers, and evaluating cognitive and adaptive functioning. The role also necessitates the preparation of comprehensive reports that outline findings and recommendations tailored for families.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations for autism diagnosis.
- Interview caregivers and assess both cognitive and adaptive functioning.
- Draft detailed reports summarizing findings and advising families.
- Submit clinical notes promptly and maintain accurate records.
- Adhere to ethical standards and organizational policies.
- Collaborate effectively with intake, billing, and clinical teams.
Qualifications
- Possession of a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited clinical, counseling, or school psychology program.
- Licensure as a Health Service Provider psychologist in both Illinois and Missouri or the capacity to obtain such licensure.
- Eligibility for enrollment in insurance and Medicaid programs.
- Preferred: A minimum of three years of experience working with children and adolescents with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Preferred: Demonstrated expertise in conducting psychological evaluations.
