Job Summary
The professional in this role will be tasked with performing intake assessments, implementing therapeutic interventions, and formulating individualized treatment plans for inmates within a correctional environment. The individual will monitor the clinical requirements of the inmates, offer crisis intervention as necessary, and ensure that all findings are recorded in compliance with the regulations of the facility.
Responsibilities
- Conduct intake evaluations for inmates.
- Provide therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs.
- Develop and execute treatment plans.
- Monitor and assess the clinical requirements of inmates.
- Deliver crisis intervention when required.
- Document clinical findings in accordance with facility guidelines.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
- Possession of an unrestricted, current professional license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, etc.).
- A minimum of one year of experience in a mental health treatment program, ideally within a correctional or hospital setting.
