The Licensed Optician delivers specialized eyewear solutions and outstanding patient service by guiding customers in frame selection, taking precise measurements, and dispensing lenses. Key responsibilities include interpreting prescriptions, managing patient records through electronic health records (EHR), and guaranteeing that eyewear fits well and is comfortable. Applicants should have a current state license and relevant experience in optical dispensing. Additionally, skills in Microsoft Office and effective communication are essential, with ABO/NCLE certification being a desirable qualification.
