Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in supporting Registered Nurses in providing comprehensive care and evaluating patients of all ages. This position requires adherence to the care standards set by the Parkview Health System and compliance with the regulations outlined in the Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
Responsibilities
- Assist Registered Nurses in delivering patient care and assessments.
- Uphold the care standards established by Parkview Health System.
- Ensure compliance with the Indiana Nurse Practice Act in all nursing activities.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Possess a valid Indiana Licensed Practical Nurse license.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Additional certifications like PALS, ACLS, or NVCI may be necessary based on departmental needs.
